Nchalo Irrigation Scheme
The project targets an estimated 3000Ha and intends to rehabilitate and develop irrigation infrastructure for various value chains including cotton, sesame and maize in Chikwawa district. Currently, the project is focusing on rehabilitating 150Ha.
The project is aimed at improving the economy of the country by exporting value-added products to external markets to fetch the required forex.
