Greenbelt Authority (GBA) is a Malawi Government Corporation established through the Greenbelt Authority Act No. 23 of 2017 from the Greenbelt Initiative. GBA is mandated to champion large scale commercial irrigation farming through sustainable use of available land and water resources in greenbelt areas in order to accelerate social-economic transformation in the country.

GREENBELT AUTHORITY'S CURRENT PROJECTS AND PROGRESS

The Greenbelt Authority is currently implementing four projects and also overseeing operations of two partnerships between the Malawi Government and the private sector.
